Lesotho and Japan Explore Business

Tokyo – His Majesty King Letsie III has invited the Japanese business community to explore business opportunities presented to them by Lesotho National Development Corporation, LNDC.

Addressing an Investment Forum hosted by LNDC in Tokyo, the King said Lesotho and Japan have sold foundation for business as they have hardworking nations, adding that Lesotho is ready to welcome Japanese businesses in a quest to improve economies as advised by TICAD in Kenya in August.

He urged both business communities to use the opportunity offered by the Ministry of Trade and Industry because LNDC is ready to assist if they decide to invest in Lesotho.

The one day Business Investment Forum was meant to familiarise Japanese businesses with opportunities in Lesotho, some of which were described by Basotho business representatives who formed part of the Ministry’s delegation led by Minister Joshua Setipa.
