Maseru – Ramahloko family will on Saturday pay tribute to their slain family member who was a member of Lesotho Mounted Police Service LMPS, Sub Inspector Mokheseng Ramahloko at a memorial service to be staged at the Police Headquarters.
According to the deceased’s brother, Mr. Mosito Ramahloko they wish to remember their brother who fell in the line of duty three years ago, saying the memorial service will be followed by a march from Police Headquarters to Qoaling Highlanders Football Ground, where a service in his memory will be held.
He said they need to find out progress on investigations regarding Sub-Inspector Ramahloko‘s murder, saying lack thereof would be clear indication that his murder was intentional.
Mr. Ramahloko revealed that the family organised the service in collaboration with the LMPS Management as well as Lesotho Police Staff Association LEPOSA, where government officials, opposition parties, Commissioner of Police and his Assistant are expected to be present.
The late Sub-Inspector Ramahloko was fatally shot during August 30, 2014 attack on police facilities by the army.
